We're Open!!!!
Brian Head Resort opens with four new surface lifts and Utah's first Snow Tubing Park.

This season Brian Head Resort is opening up a whole New World of winter fun with Utah's first Snow Tubing Park, an on-snow version of a water slide park. Guests who used to sit around watching family members come down the slopes on skis or snowboards can join the fun and take to the slopes on a tube. All ages are invited to spend some time speeding down specially designed tracks on tubes fitted with a snow sliding surface it's like sledding the old fashioned way, only you don't have to hike back up to the top thanks to the new surface lift installed at the park. Tubes and Tubing Park lift tickets are packaged into one low cost of $7.00 per session.

In addition to the new surface lift installed at the Snow Tube Park, Brian Head is installing three other surface lifts to allow interconnect service at Navajo Lodge. Two of the lifts are going to allow for ski-in/ski-out access tot the newly remodeled Cedar Breaks Lodge with the chair lifts at Navajo Lodge.

The third new surface lift is being installed between the Navajo Lodge and Chair lift 4. "Now guests won't have to hike uphill after lunch when they are returning to the slopes," said Henry Hornberger, the resort's General Manager.

With all the exciting changes and major improvements, the 1997-98 Winter Season promises to be a great one!
